With 6 happy kids, life can be really fun around here! This blog is dedicated to the joys and sometimes chaos of having a large family. Okay, so it's always chaos around here, but fortunately, it's almost always fun, too!

Have you heard about the guy who set a tent up on the roof of his house in order to protest his wife having the 2 month old baby in their bed?

I think the guy is a bit off his rocker, personally. She JUST had a baby, and he's publicly humiliating her like this.

I think babies need tons of affection. Babies who sleep with their mommies are less likely to die of SIDS. Most of the world practices mother-baby co-sleeping, it's really just some western countries where it's not universally done. (It's still VERY common, as most families in the US practices some form of co-sleeping when the babies are young.)

Interesting how much controversy this one man could create. I hope he figures out he should get down off the roof and help his wife with those little babies, too!

My husband just gave me a cd by one of my favorite bands. It's They Might Be Giants - http://www.tmbg.com - they are so awesome. My kids love them. Their songs are really right up a kids' alley. For instance, they have a song "No" that goes something like this:

"No means no.
A thousand times no.
No, no, no, no
no no no"

It's about - well, NO.

Or the song about time:

"you're older than you've ever been
and now you're getting older
and now you're getting older
and now you're getting older

You're older than you've ever been
and now you're getting older
and now you're older still."

These guys are just hilarious. And they're going on tour. YIPPEE!!!
