independent films

I am a big fan of independent films. I remember many years ago seeing a film I think was called "The Train" - a story of two men who end up helping a soldier from the other side. It was an amazing, thought-provoking film. No words - it was silent.

Another great independent film is "UNITED" by Taran Xavier Lexton. You can see it at: Youth For Human Rights - UNITED.

More vacationing!

One of my kids has been invited to go along with her friend's family vacation. She'll be traveling to several states.

I am very relieved that communication is so smooth and easy these days. She'll have a cell phone, and her friend will hook up to the internet with hotel internet wi-fi so there will be no need to worry. She can call, she can email. She'll stay in hotels but be able to access the internet and stay in touch!
