Here's a tip on spending less on gift wrap for lots of presents.
I always get one huge, lovely roll of wrap from Costco. This will last me at least three years. They sell the thick, nice wrap in 750 sq ft packages. Then I get a bunch of little rolls - AFTER Christmas, and save it in the closet.
I make sure to get gold, green, red paper - solid colors that I can also use for birthdays.
I end up spending less on paper, but having more variety and nicer paper this way.
For sending gifts to relatives, I usually use rolls of white paper from Office Depot - and let the children paint on it, or decorate it with ribbons, sequins, feathers, etc.
The relatives LOVE their "homemade" paper!
