With a lot of kids, I think it really helps to buy things at the end of the season. For instance, we just picked up some pool toys for $1 each. I'll just save them until next summer. Christmas wrapping paper is always great to get on January 2nd (after the store has time to mark everything down!)

We just got some great pool toys for not very much money. And some of them are actually good bathtub toys, so that was a bonus.
